Artist's Description
This picture was taken in an Italian dog shelter. This beagle was rescued from a beagle "breeding factory" that was selling them to labors for vivisection. Today they almost all have a new family who loves them, as they deserve.
About Laura Melis
I started photography a few years ago. I'm attracted by anything related to nature. I love animals, and I respect them, that's why I chose to become vegan. I like also dark and creepy atmospheres and I enjoy playing with the camera and with editing softwares in order to obtain unusual pictures. You may buy prints of my photos here. Each print is manufactured at Fine Art America's production facility and delivered with a 30-day money-back guarantee. All of my images are copyrighted, and may not be reproduced, copied, edited, published, transmitted or uploaded in any way without my written permission. Thank you Alanna for your comment and for sharing your experience. Cruelty on animals (o ALL animals) is one of the worst thing in this world.

Thank you so much for sharing the story of this precious dog. I will never understand cruelity to animals. We've rescued so many over so many decades finding the good homes, or if not able to, we kept them. Am happy to hear they are in good homes! Great Shot!
